DESPITE a dominating performance from Kilmore over Wallan, Seymour remains top of the ladder in division one following the last round of pennant in the Central Bowls Association competition.
Seymour was able to retain the lead following their all rinks up victory over Seymour VRI on Saturday.
In the 19-shot win, M. Houghton defeated K. Lee, R. Baldwin defeated G. Jones, J. Spargo defeated K. Miles and J. Reilly defeated G. Neal.
Kilmore had a day out against a struggling Wallan with a 65-shot all rinks up demolition at home.
B. Winther defeated J. Coustley 37-14, K. Mayberry defeated P. Croft 34-12, P. Skehan defeated A. Cowan 30-13 and P. Soulsby defeated S. Duncan 23-20.
Broadford earned its place in finals with a 26 shot win over Yea.
G. Bilton defeated R. McLean 40-15, L. Gleeson defeated P. West 27-15, I. Powell lost to R. Branch 20-25 and A. Price lost to K. Hatty 22-28.
Eildon defeated Alexandra 96-70.
J. Wheelhouse defeated G. Newman 29-9, I. Layfield defeated L. Scott 27-15, L. Di Bella defeated G. Maurer 26-22 and K. Turner lost to G. Gilmore 14-24.
Final ladder: Seymour 145, Kilmore 141, Seymour VRI 120, Broadford 97, Yea 83, Alexandra 79, Eildon 66, Wallan 53.
Seymour will meet Kilmore in the first semi final this Saturday to contest a spot in the grand final.
Broadford will meet Seymour VRI.
Division two
Seymour and Seymour VRI met on Saturday in the probable preview to the division two grand final.
Seymour VRI took the points in the 7-shot win, however Seymour retained top spot on the ladder.
P. Delzotto defeated E. Jarman 27-14, J. Furletti drew with D. Hanson 22-22, B. Chapman lost to N. Harris 26-27 and L. Black lost to R. Gardiner 18-23.
Yea lost to Broadford 92-99.
C.Hildebrand defeated R. White 36-12, G. Oliver lost to A. Oliver 22-30, J. Clements lost to I. Mumford 21-30 and L. Sheahan lost to M. Carboon 13-27.
Whittlesea defeated Alexandra by three shots 96-93.
G. Broderick lost to T. Livy 14-21, N. McMaster lost to K. Ackerman 19-23, D. Quine defeated A. Hewitt 31-28 and E. Bowers defeated L. Zvikevitch 32-21.
Kilmore had the bye.

Seymour and Seymour VRI will contest a spot in the grand final this Saturday, whilst Broadford will take on Whittlesea in their semi.
Division three
Seymour VRI upset Seymour Blue with a 31 shot win.
R. Richards defeated L. Hall 30-11and K. Parker defeated K. McLarty 27-15.
Seymour Maroon retained top spot with a 26 shot win over Broadford.
R. Fullerton defeated T. Emmett 32-17, whilst D. Boyd lost to R. McDonald 18-19.
Whittlesea Blue defeated Kilmore 53-39.
T. Toohey lost to P. Kelly 19-23 and J. Toman defeated G. Reeves 34-16.
Wallan lost to Whittlesea Gold 38-43.
J. Miller defeated B. Chambers 26-20 and R. Gilder lost to E. Porter 12-23.

Seymour Maroon and Seymour Blue meet on their semi to see who will head straight into the grand final, while Seymour VRI will contest their semi against Wallan.
