The new aged care facility has opened its doors for open days at the weekend for prospective residents and families to take a tour and meet the staff before the grand opening on August 31.
This modern, air-conditioned residence provides ageing in place with 50 low care beds, 18 high care beds and 12 beds in a dementia specific secure environment.
Blue Cross Willowmeade also offers responsive and planned respite options for short-term stays.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with LCD, full HD 32-inch televisions and telephone connections, hydronic heating and ceiling fans.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own pieces to decorate their rooms and make the rooms their own.
