She has won many awards, but she is most proud of the Career Achievement Award for Urban Fantasy, which she recently won in the US at the Romantic Times Convention.
Keri was up against authors including Laurell K Hamilton and Charlaine Harris, who writes the Southern Vampires series, on which HBO’s True Blood is based.
Working at her home, she writes about four pages a day, but that varies from day to day. With deadlines, conventions and other tasks at hand, Keri aims to complete a manuscript in about four months.
Some have taken less and some longer, but four months is the average.
