Police seek accident witness
KILMORE Police attended a single vehicle accident on the Lancefield Road, near Springfield Road, on Sunday, July 25 at about 1.40am.
A Toyota Hilux veered off the road and struck a tree. The male driver was taken to the Northern Hospital.
Police would like to speak with the driver of another vehicle, also believed to be a Toyota Hilux or similar, who stopped at the scene and rendered assistance.
Investigators believe the driver may have information that can assist their investigation but insist the driver was not involved in the collision.

Canteen break-in
A pie warmer and a large amount of lollies and soft drinks were stolen from a Kilmore sporting complex canteen between 5pm on Friday, September 10 and 10am on Saturday, September 11.
Police say the offenders gained access to the building by smashing the ply panels which cover the front of the store.

Criminal damage in Kilmore
Kilmore Police are investigating several incidents of criminal damage which occurred in Powlett Street around 2.30am on Sunday, September 12.
Three letter boxes were damaged, one window smashed and several fence palings ripped from a fence.

A string of theft
Wallan Police are investigating a burglary at a Queen Adelaide Court residence in Wallan recently.
It is believed that offenders broke into the house some time between Thursday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 8 and stole electrical items, cash and jewellery.
Investigators are also seeking witnesses to two incidents in the Pretty Sally Estate.
Property was stolen from a car parked in Franklin Close on Thursday, September 9, and a letter box and garden lights were damaged in Pretty Sally Drive on Saturday, September 11.
No sale
An 18-year-old male has been interviewed after attempting to sell a laser level at a northern suburbs cash converters store.
Investigators believe the item was stolen from a house under construction in Hidden Valley on Thursday, September 9.
Scam Alert
Police have been advised of a group contacting district residents claiming to be from a banking institution or the Australian Taxation Office.
The callers have the victims’ name and date of birth and tell the person they are owed money.
They then ask the person to pay an administration fee into an account and they will inturn deposit the monies owed.
Consumer Affairs advise people to never pay the fees.
Banks do not ask for account details over the phone or send links via an email.
